Quite simply, Daniel Shiferaw has been a D.C. sports fan all of his life. A native of Silver Spring, MD, he has seen his teams disappoint him time and time again. That being said, the hope of a winner gracing the D.C. area is what keeps him going, and he continues to maintain a (very) cautiously optimistic yet objective tone as a fan and as a writer. He one day dreams of having a D.C. sports team finally bring home a trophy, so that we can all experience what winning actually feels like.
